Major Responsibilities

    Independently acquire and comply with relevant regulations of the QC Lab
    Coloristic assessment of the color of products
    Independent execution of color correction calculations
    Analyze the trend of production in order to improve color stability of recipes by identifying the limits and increasing, where possible, the number of direct start ups; Statistical analysis of color productions (calculation of trend, Ppk etc)
    Manage the process of on-line control of production, optimizing the technical, functional, procedural and logistics aspects for the shift QC color technicians / lab technicians
    Assess the level of training of QC color technicians and shortcomings; develop the appropriate training, according to the matrix of skills
    Technical interface for standard production, production trials and for the evaluation of materials based on process parameter
    Support for the analysis of problems related to color
    Be responsible for equipment maintenance and housekeeping at the Color Lab and injection molding room
    Compliance with the relevant QC Lab safety, environmental and quality standards 

Job Requirement

        Educational background: BSc degree or above on polymer science, chemistry or related major
        Good English skills
        Excellent visual perceptibility of small color differences as indicated in the Farnsworth-Munsell 100-Hue color discrimination test is required
        Team player; communication skills; leadership ability
         Initiative
        Excellent analysing ability and structured working style
        Able to work in competitive environment under pressure
        Willing and motivated to work for Bayer on a long term perspective
        At least 4 years plastic coloring experience (including color correction, color matching, injection molding etc)  
        Working in chemical industry plant in an international company,
        Knowing engineering plastics manufacturing process is preferable
