JOB DESCRIPTION :
-Provide engineering expertise in the design, development and industrialisation of new fabric care products that are produced by our OEM/ODM partners. Provide project management expertise in delivering new fabric care products with our OEM/ODM partners. Attend to engineering problems relating to performance, quality, FFF (fit, feel and finish) and provide engineering advice to all stake holders. Manage and coordinate with the cross functional team that supports these activities.

Project delivery
-On time launch of new washing machine models and compliance with PMF process.

Products match expectation
-Delivered products meet performance targets, match the IDC styling models and match the design 
 verification models.

Project delivery (cost)
-Projects match IR investment and product cost forecasts.

Quality
-Functional & reliability tests meet the Electrolux’s standard.
-SCR target and follow up post product launch.  
-Create user manual and manage parts list, pricing and service manual before project completion

Competencies needed
-Min 4 years of product development experience in durables industry (preferably in laundry products) with project management experience.
-Previous experience in product sourcing or supplier management will be an advantage. 
-Ability to work in cross functional and cross cultural teams, with a strong teamwork approach.
-Proactive, self motivated and able to take responsibility for on time delivery of the project.  
-Strong communication, planning and organizing skills. 
-Analytical skills and computer literate. 
-Fluent in English and Mandarin.
